Heli SGI (Sayap Garuda Indah) announced its intention to start a collaboration with Leonardo and Helitech Asia, the recently appointed Leonardo distributor in Southeast Asia.
The company intends to introduce in the future the latest generation AW09 single engine helicopter among its rotorcraft operations, in the framework of its fleet replacement and modernization strategy.
Heli SGI is an Indonesian-based and incorporated company whose primary activity is the provision of Rotary and Fixed Wing aviation services to the Mining, Tourism and Corporate VIP sectors. Emilio Dalmasso, in charge of new products at Leonardo Helicopters, declared at the occasion: “We would be very pleased to welcome Heli SGI within the AW09 customer community. We are convinced that our next generation helicopter will suitably meet their new requirements for all the missions they perform on a daily basis”.
