Kopter participated as a key sponsor, exhibitor and speaker at the first Swiss Helicopter Day that took place at the Linth-arena in Näfels, Glarus, on 11 February 2020.
This event, defined and promoted in close collaboration with the Swiss Helicopter Association (SHA) gathered around 250 representatives from
companies active in the aviation/helicopter sector, authorities such as FOCA, governmental organizations and universities.
Andreas Löwenstein, our CEO, gave a keynote speech on the subject: “how should a modern helicopter look like’” and took part in a panel discussion on the trends and challenges of helicopter operations together with Philipp Perren, President of Air Zermatt and Martin Candinas, President of the Swiss Helicopter Association (SHA).
Kopter’s SH09 second prototype (P2) was displayed among products and solutions proposed by around 30 suppliers of the industry, allowing us to present the final design features of our helicopter recently unveiled at Heli-Expo 2020 in the US as well as most recent videos of our third prototype (P3) flying in Sicily.
Very fruitful exchanges took place throughout the day among all participants, proving the dynamism of this industry in Switzerland.
